REAL ESTATE / backyard jam

Filmed at the "BACKYARD SHOW" in the suburbs of Jersey August 1, 2009. Real Estate jamming in a backyard in New Jersey at dusk is exactly how you want to hear their blissful tunes.

FOALS - Spanish Sahara

A breathtaking video for the new Foals song. I can't wait to hear the upcoming full length.

SYNTH BRITANNIA

Here's another great BBC documentary I found. This one is on the post-punk synthesizer music scene of 1970's and 80's Britain (New Order, Cabaret Volatire, Gary Numan, etc). Below is part 1 of 9. Go to zarezagreb2's Youtube Channel to see the other parts.

DEATH IN JUNE - Symbols And Clouds

Here are some pictures I took of the new DEATH IN JUNE "Symbols And Clouds" boxset I received in the mail.

This very special soapstone and lazer-engraved granite release assembles onto one CD the best of 1992's “But, What Ends When The Symbols Shatter?” and 1995's “Rose Clouds Of Holocaust” albums plus two rare single tracks from the same period, generally considered one of the high points in Death In June's career. It also includes a second CD featuring re-recorded, stripped-back acoustic “Totenpop” versions of 15 of these classics, recorded shortly after the final tour in June 2005 and mixed and produced in December 2008.

More info about the set can be found here.

UNTIL THE LIGHT TAKES US

I saw this movie last year at the AFI festival and really enjoyed it. The film focuses mainly on Varg BURZUM and Fenriz DARKTHRONE and their history in Norwegian Black Metal. Check the movies site for where it's playing close to you. If anyone has an advance copy of this movie please get in touch!

X-ACTO KNIVES & GLUE

Below are two recent collages I created. More to come. I'm in the process of creating a site of all of my fine art. More updates coming soon.
