from what i've heard, the movie is fantastic. although it does kind of ruin the "mystery." that's one of the things that really appealed to me as a youth back in the 80s. before the internets. you would get these joy division albums and it was fucking dark and black. in the states we had no idea what was going on. and i still kind of hold onto that with this band. while i am eager and excited to see the movie, i fear it will also ruin kind of the mystery and lore behind the band. ah well. so it goes. anyway, he must have been doing some serious practicing in front of the mirror for this movie...haha. fucking spot on.

Control absolutely killed me emotionally for days after I saw it. Hit way too close to home for me having dated a long term unfaithful musician. I'll probably never watch it again. Though I have to say the reenactments of the stage performances and talent of the band are fantastic!
