FRODUS
Frodus's "And We Washed Our Weapons in the Sea" was a criminally underappreciated album when it came out. Download this record right away if you don't have it. For fans of bands like Jawbox, The Arms Are Snakes, Unwound, and Drive Like Jehu. For more information on the band check out their wiki page.
On a personal note, life has been hectic but this blog is far from dead. Keep your eyes open. xo - Nick

man, all of their album are underrated. They made so much cool music, but not many people dig em. Awesome album, thanks man.
AGREED!
I remember a while ago, this was put up on zen and the art of face punching, and I downloaded but I couldn't really get into it. This time around though, something clicked and I'm really digging this album. Thanks for the upload!
I remember finding this album when I was fifteen in a used cd store not knowing what to expect. Then Red Bull of Juarez blew me away.
I heard off them, but until now never took the time to give them a chance. My mistake. This album is great. Thanks.
when thrice released the alchemy index and earth came out i fell so deep in love with The Earth Isn't Humming that is by far my favorite track on that ep and then a friend of mine told me it was by this band called frodus.i had never heard of them until then and i never bothered to look them up until now. and now i'm so excited to listen to the original and hear the rest of their music. thanks so much
Frodus were great. My band got to play with them a bunch when we were on the same label. I think it was the F-Letter record in 1996. That kid Shelby looked scary when he screamed. His jaw would stay level and the top of his head would tilt back. sort of like guy smiley.
By the way, i just started a mp3 blog this afternoon, so if you like steel pole bath tub...
