ACRID
I was lucky enough to find a CD version of this out of print gem while record shopping in Baltimore last year. If you don't have this download it right away. Acrid was a mid-to-late 1990s Canadian band that focused on the uglier side of hardcore. They mixed hardcore, grindcore, and even black metal sounds into their style. Members went on to play in acts like Grade and the Swarm.
ACRID - "Eighty-Sixed"

great shit! this album gets me through work somedays... you make record art, i make baby art... i draw bears on snowboards and trains and dogs with "woof" written next to them.
if it werent for bands like Acrid you would see me on the news in the next mall shootout.
Hahahaha, amazing! Do you know if they had any other releases out? I'd love to get my hands on more if it's out there!
I was fortunate enough to find a used copy at the local record store here. I have 86'd on vinyl and I'm looking for the Buzsaw split with Left For Dead.
Their records the sickest artwork I've ever seen.
oops, i forgot a "have"
hey here's a link to their complete discography (i input most of the releases myself):

they also had a song on the "49th parallel" comp, but it was from the "sea of shit" LP, also known as the second half of the "eighty sixed" CD, so if you have the CD you already have it.
thanks for posting this. the acrid/left for dead buzzsaw split is one of the best splits from the 90's. total brutality from both bands.
also, the split with Bombs Of Death is vicious also and well worth checking out. b.o.d. is definantly a member of spazz and i think a member of assuck playing total slayer worship thrash.
